How does it work?

Q. What does EcoCell do? 

A. Selling your unused or used devices with EcoCell is very simple, just follow these steps!

  • Select the device that you want to sell.
  • Select the device's storage size & colour.
  • Select the device's condition from one of the following:
      New, Working or Dead. (If selected working please specify (if any) issues.)
  • We will then offer you a price for your device(s).
  • Send us your device for free
  • We evaluate it's condition based on information provided by you.
  • We will send you the money within 4 hours of us receiving your device(s). 

Q. What are the differences between the conditions?

New

  • The device has to be in perfect condition with no signs of wear and tear.
  • The device has to be in perfect working order.

Working

  • The device can have scratches or minor wear and tear.
  • The device can have damages but has to be working.
  • The device has to be functional.

Dead

  • The device is damaged/faulty.
  • The device is iCloud unlocked.
  • The device is not 100% functional.

Q. How do I post my device(s)?

A. We have tried to make it as simple as possible for our customers to ship their devices to us, once you have placed the order. We will provide you with our free reply paid address where you can ship the devices to us free of charge. Simply go to any nearest AusPost office simply pack your device and write our reply paid address and hand it over the counter.

Q. How do I get paid & how long will the payment take?

A. Once we receive your device(s), we evaluate it's condition based on information provided by you and pay you within 4 hours through bank transfer or paypal.

Q. What if my device does not match the information I provided?

A. Once we receive the device(s), we will inspect them. If the device is not as described, we will contact you with the reduced amount. If you are not happy with the reduced price, your device(s) will be shipped back to you free of charge.

Q. Can I get paid in person?

A. Currently we are only doing local pick ups within Sydney, NSW. Simply just choose a McDonald's you would like to meet at, one of our staff member will contact you for a time and date. We will dispatch one of our friendly technicians to asses the device(s) and pay you cash for the device(s).
