If you no longer can access an iPhone or iPad you can remove them in Find My iPhone on iCloud.com. When you remove a device, it’s removed from your Devices list and Activation Lock is turned off.

To sign in to Find My iPhone, go to icloud.com/find. Please make sure you sign in with the same apple ID that's being used on the damaged device.

Erasing your device & removing the iCloud.

You need to remotely erase it before you can remove it from your account.

  1. In Find My iPhone on iCloud.com, click All Devices and then select the device you want to erase.

    If you don’t see All Devices, it’s because you’ve already selected a device. Click the name of the current device in the centre of the toolbar to access the Devices list and then select a new device.

  2. Erase the device.

    Because the device isn’t lost, don’t enter a phone number or message.

    If the device is offline, the remote erase begins the next time it’s online. You receive an email when the device is erased.

  3. When the device is erased, click Remove from Account.

    All of your content is erased and your device is now ready to sell!

 

If an iPhone is lost or stolen and you wipe it remotely with Find My iPhone, you'll need to enter your iCloud password to reactivate it, we do not purchase iCloud locked devices unless it can be unlocked by the account owner.

If the devices can't be unlocked we can offer to recycle them to keep them out of landfill.

Our trade-in process is super transparent! You will be able to keep track of the progress of your offer through your EcoCell account (if you have opened one) or by using our unique tracking system.  We will keep you updated from the time your device is delivered to us until the completion (payment) or cancellation of your offer.

Your offer price will be paid through  Bank Transfer or PayID if you shipped you device to us. Your money will be paid within 6 hours after your devices(s) has/have been received and processed. We also offer Cash payments to clients who can meet at selected McDonald's within the Sydney city.

No worries! Select a condition that best describes your device. We will evaluate your devices(s) and adjust the offer accordingly once received. Your reevaluated offer price could end up being higher or lower.

 
 Find your serial number, IMEI/MEID or ICCID
  1. Go to Settings > General and tap About.
  2. Look for the serial number. You might need to scroll down to find the IMEI.
